Description
Hey guys, thank you so much for the great response on my last deviation guys! I read all your comments!
Had a few hours to kill at work today so I did this Dylan Coleish mattepaint/concept cityscape. Hope you like it!

EDIT: The title is more of a Dream Theater reference, don't plan on making a part 2.

This could almost be earth in 100 years it has that realism to the building structures, not just complete utter metal metropolis.

This is awesome. I love the way the light filters trough the smog. I'm not a huge fan of the motion blur on the foreground aircraft, but other that that, I really like this.

'A few hours to kill at work' he says. There's an unbelievable amount of detail - as soon as I saw this piece I gave birth. This is worthy of awards and such!

Haha I was going through your gallery and saw this, I had to click on it solely based on the DT reference. That being said, it is almost exactly the kind of atmosphere I've thought of everytime I play the song.

I gotta say, one little thing I like especially about this is how the buildings in the city are a hodgepodge of the current (like our era) and futuristic. It speaks of a city that's been around for a very long time and is going to be around for a while.
