I tried to pull this image out existing of a lot of stock images but the task was a bit to difficult for me now
But mattepainting is the perfect solution, going to practice with it a bit more.

I love this for both the detail in the pic and the subject. The touch of irony that the car in the pic is a Toyota Prius is great. I also like the contrast between the still shimmering bright high towers compaired to the lower jungle like feel on the street.... er, river I should say.

Geez I really love mattepainting, it's so impressive.
You're quite good in that style.
This picture reminds me of a book titled "Temps de chien" in french, dealing with a post-apocalyptic world in which all cities are semi-covered by water, and people have to live in the highest skyscrapers, moving thanks ropes and grapples, and travelling by improbable airships.
Anyway, the growing vegetation is impressively realistic.
