Very reminiscent of a particular episode of Band of Brothers, complete with hole in the wall of a building on the edge of an open space and a church in the background. Love it man. Bullseye.

4-5 hours?!?!? Wow, that's about as long as it takes me sometimes just to simple drawings for art class, such as cloth draped over a chair....

TEH awesome!
The horizon acts as a mirror if you have reflections, so I am pretty sure you wouldn't be able to see the top of that building and the bright sky in the puddle. But maybe you did it for artistic freedom because it would totally make sense to do so here!

I love the street and the two buildings on the right.
The reflection is off, it should show the hole: measure from the horizon (in this case the height of a standing person) downwards into the puddle, and then the same length upward from the horizon. You'll be in the very middle of the hole, at about the height of the floor boards.
And the building in the middle, in front of the church, looks more overgrown and dilapidated from age than destroyed by war.
Also, I'm not an expert on the effects of war on cities, but all the images I know of WWII usually show the buildings either whole or completely razed. I have never seen an image of a building with a hole blown into it below the roof. Probably the bombs were rather forcefull and did more damage than you show here. At least that is how I feel, maybe it gives you some valuabe feedback, but of course, as I said, I might be completely wrong.

Actually the damage is represented pretty well. As far as I can tell it's one of those small French/Dutch towns, so probably there was no bombarding, and all the damage is done by ground forces.
So imagine one Tiger, a couple of Panzer Mk IV (maybe a few Panzerfausts), and half a dozen Shermans (tanks can shoot at third floor level max), and you'll get the cause for the damage.

Alright, thanks. As I said, I'm uneducated regarding war, and I'm sure Andree will be glad to know he did a good job - as usual. Though, if I were him, I'd post this image with a short description of what kind of forces caused this damage, because I'm sure not everyone knows what you two know, and some may think as I did.
