Description
an installation project...Straight jacket made by me
On the TV were videos which me and my friends made: three; of faces staring into the cell, one; of my friend Jo running through some corridoors in the straight jacket... the other two tvs were just fuzzy or switched off...
There were also sounds being played into the room... Metallica, the sound of an out of tune radio and me and my friends talking, whispering and screaming...
We were aiming to create a feeling of claustrophobia and paranoia

hehe... well the TV's had whole part in the room... we has videos playing on 4 of them. My face occupied one, my friends jo and rachel had a tv too and we were just blankly staring into the camera... and then the other was of Jo running through the college corridoor in that straight jacket we also had sounds playing in - metallica, that fuzzy out of tune radio noise and me and my group scream and making wierd noises... it was alot of fun to make!!!!!!! We got a distinction - yey

I haven't been too bad!!! It was freezing cold at college today, my studio space is right by the bloody entrance.... and the weather is nastily cold today too... grrr... my feet are like ice... How be you???

well there were 6 other different installations happening around us... we all had to take a word and work with that word by creating a space that encapsulated that word.... I can't remember what our word was... but thats how we did it.. of course me and my friend jo were mad on this idea of having a padded cell and you only see 'the room' there were also videos that we'd made playing on the TV screens and sounds being played into the room... it really was great and we were totally pleased with the final outcome...
