Description
This is one of the old artwork pieces that I never cared to color or upload or anything.I just wanted to see how I would do Damage getting some action done.
I love this character! I immediately fell in love with him and his powers reading an article about the new formation of the Titans after Zero Hour even though none of the comic books were pulished in Brazil. It was one of the few good things that came from Zero Hour.
Unfortunately his best times were when Arsenal made him join the team after Titans vs.JLA.
I don't know what happened to him after that team was over. I just know that he suffered child abuse and that he had an accident that left scares all over his face.
For his outfit I imagened that the nuclear pattern on his shirt could have the same shining lightning bolts that comes from the energy he expels.
Those rings around his neck, arms and fists are to keep him from exploding with his energy. I think STAR labs would develop them for him!
He was never well developed, but still a great character!

Este é um dos trabalho antigos que eu nunca me importei de colorir ou upar ou nada.
Acho que é de 2003, e eu só queria ver como eu faria o Detonador entrando numa briga.
Eu adoro este personagem! Eu me apaixonei por ele e pelos seus poderes depois de ler uma matéria a respeito da nova formação dos Titãs depois da Zero Hora, mesmo que nenhuma das revistas tenham sido publicadas no Brasil. Foi uma das poucas boas coisas vindas da Zero Hora.
Infelizmente seus melhores momentos foram quando Arsenal o chamou para fazer parte da equipe pós- Titãs vs. Liga.
Não sei o que aconteceu a ele depois daquela equipe terminar. Só sei que ele sofreu abuso infantil e que sofreu uma acidente que deixou seu rosto coberto de cicatrizes.
Para o seu uniforme, imaginei que a estampa nuclear na sua camisa podia ter os mesmos brilhos de relâmpagos que saem da energia que ele expele.
Os anéis em volta do seu pescoço, braços e punhos são para evitar que ele exploda junto com a sua energia.
Ele nunca foi bem trabalhado, mas ainda assim, é uma grande personagem!

I should mention that in the Titans comics, it was revealed that Damage was physically and sexually abused as a child. That to me is sad.

I hated to know that many interesting characters that came from the Titans who would give great stories were simply dismissed.
But if I was to believe that any DC character who dies doesn't have a chance to come back as a villain trying to take over the whole Earth [or the moon, in Cyborg's case!] and regret after a master mess, I would've given up reading comic books.

I've heard that, but I seriously doubt it.
DC Comics always creates these universal messes to put away those characters who are no longer useful, like they didi to Pantha, Risk and the others who died went Superboy went nuts.
