If you didn't know yet, it seems that the offical image/look of SCP-173 (the peanut-looking neck-snapping statue that made this whole SCP thing famous in the beginning), has been removed from the SCP Wiki and canon as a whole, because of copyright reasons. And while, nobody is going to replace the original image on SCP (or at least, not officially), many artist seem to begin to create their own versions of this creature.So... i decided to draw my take on the statue, taking inspiration of the original description, and of various takes of other artist of the creature.
