Description Taken last week in London on the South Bank where Anthony Gormley was staging an exhibition in the Hayward Gallery called 'Event Horizon'. The idea is that from the viewing balcony of the hall one can see 30 sculptured casts which are placed around the citry horizon on roof tops etc. All are only visible from that one location.

Here's one taken from near Waterloo Station.

Love the perspective and underexposed look to this. Very nice capture. Very close to an old workplace, scarily enough...

The man is the exhibition silly. There's 30 of'em scattered about the area and all of them can only be seen from the balcony on the hall.

Apparently.

What? You ran out of USA shots already?

Kidding! I miss that place, man. London certainly has a flair for the artistic and dramatic that my little city can't even compete with.

haha "run out" lol lol you gotta be kidding. At least another 1200 that I want to process.

I'm taking pics far far faster than I can process. There's even loads from the Lakes that I keep picturing and mean to go back to. Guess you're in tha same boat eh dude.

And move to Canon man, you know the new 1Ds at 21mp makes perfect sense for your photography

amazing!it really expresses the wish of taking off and flying away,it's very idealistic and philosophic and in the same time,it shows the small proportions of human in comparison with the proportions of the buildings....

yeah it looked a great exhibit. Sadly I missed the main thing but around that area one could always see at least 10 of the sculptures. Gormley specialises in human body sculptures - usually his own a la the Angel of the North colossus.

Idea of the exhibition is great but I believe you captured (produced) another good piece of art from that work.

Cheers - I just point the camera mate. Someone else did the hard work.

Isnt it the same as always, someone takes 10G's on air and you photograph it easily, someone turns a corner with 180 mph on a bile and you take his photo easily, you know its not that easy man
