How long does it normally take you per page?
I'm currently working on a graphic novel project too, and I just feel like I'm so slow!

Yeah, I'm much quicker than I used to be. Now a days I can do an easier page in a day. Pencil, inks, letters, but that's 8-10 hours still and only the easier pages.

*whew* Thanks, I feel much better now. I thought I was at a snails-pace. I can get one easier page done in a day and a half. But I still work a full-time day job and can only get around to it at night.

haha yeah it will be available. Once we send out all the books from the kickstarter to the backers and publishers, the remainders will be for sale. I'll post about it as soon as they are available. It may be a couple months though.
Yeah I'll be at NYCC on Sunday MAYBE Saturday. Fan-style though, couldn't afford a table.

I'm surprised you see the lettering in this shot HAHA. For real though, I try to do everything on the paper in one shot. I saw some Eric Powell pages and was inspired but how much love he put into them and I was like YUP, that's how it's done haha. Thanks man. Hope you dig the final.

I couldn't see the letters well, but I could see enough to know, and I love the ballooning style and the SFX. It's really cool to see everything on the original page, all old-school.

Very Cool! Looks great, Andrew. I wish my stuff was as organized as what you've got here. I can't even complete a page without having three other drawings to replace panels I've rejected. Seriously, for eight comic pages 13x19 I've got 10 additional drawings of various sizes to deal with. I'm a train wreck when it comes to traditional comic pages. Thank god for photoshop.

HAHAHA Well I definitely erase a lot. And I HATE HATE HATE Photoshopping panels back in. I really want my pages to be individual pieces of art, so it's pretty important to me that there are no mistakes, including the lettering.

hahaha OK here goes, 11x17 150lb from Cranston, those comic pages they make, but I flip them over so I don't have to deal with the blue lines haha. Bombay ink and size 0 Rafael brush. Cheap walmart craft quality acrylic paint. I see a couple rulers there haha, prisma color brand 4H pencil, A sharpie for spot blacks, Microns, mostly size 08 and some size 1 for the tight spot blacks. haha thanks dude.
