25 cents. Wow that's cheap!This was kinda fun. These are a few characters that have been bouncing around in my head for a few weeks now nonstop. I just had to get them on paper. And what was a better excuse than for a contest inspired by a great inspiration of mine. Enjoy.

That character is a character a plan on using eventually. Though she started as a version of gaga, she has changed a little. But the inspiration is still apparent I think.

Love the character design dude, and no matter how much color I do I always love the look of monochrome! I envy the ability to make such free form and flowing compositions, I usually second guess myself too much to get anything done... would love to see more of the gritty toon character by the way

man I second guess myself all the time. I think drawing is so hard. i look at some guys and I'm like damn you probably keep everything you do, no erasing at all. I like color it just takes so damn long I don't usually do it. But thanks a bunch man, I really like these characters and the world I am planning for them so I really really hope I have the time to develop them in the relatively near future. Thanks again bro. I hear ya man, i feel the same way. I see comic artists doing sketches and commissions on the spot at conventions and I'm like, there is no way i could do that. I am too slow and make too many mistakes to draw in front of people. Hopefully they felt that way too at some point haha.

Another good one, Andrew. Is it just me or have you changed your style a little bit in your last two posts? You can see the Mignola influence in your Messenger stuff, but you seem to go a bit further back in time in this one and the pages you posted earlier. Anyways, I dig it!

Thanks alot man. yeah I'd say it's changed a bit. It mostly because the Zoogaphone was all done with a brush and this one was kinda mixed. Also, on Messenger I was using alot of sharp Mignola/Bรก angles and shapes and now I am really digging the "brush guys" more and more. James Harren, Paul Pope, Rafael Grampa, Toby Cypress. So it's kinda some kind of Frankenstein of all of the above I guess. I've wanted to swing this way a little for awhile now but I was in the middle of Messenger and couldn't just switch to a brush. I dunno though man, I'm just always experimenting, trying to find something I like. Hopefully they will be improvements. Thanks again dude.
