if i were to make an anime i would do everything in my power to make sure i hired animators who have done high quality animations. i mean i don't wanna sound picky or mean to the guys who did lets say Berserk (2016) but come on...who animated the show in 3D and showed it to the director or whatever and they were like..."yeah this is fine" when its NOT FINE! if i was a director and i saw the CGI animations no matter how good or bad it is my only response would be me getting a black sharpie marker and a posted note writing down the words "Fix it" and sending it back to the animator along with the clip of the CGI animations.
I'm not saying get Yutaka Nakamura (that would take a miracle) but why not animators like i don't know Miso or Hidetsugu Ito or Hiroyuki Yamashita crap! i don't know man! Naotoshi Shida! i just rolled off big name sakuga animators! but no...we get this...i mean i didn't want to say this but Pokemon XY&Z anime has better animations! (oh i hope i didn't make someone mad saying that)

yeah i support CG animation with 2d aniamtion, its really helpful, i would like to learn on how to use it one day, it gives more detail and quality to the animation, but there are some cg tht is really bad with the 2d aniamiton, im saying tht some parts just dont fit tht well, the only CG with 2d anime i really like is unlimited blade works and everything ufotable. but yeah in conclusion, CG is good when combining it with d , just dont over do it, cause there are some animations tht are better in 2d only.

i mean yeah CGI can look good if used in the right way, especially monsters (or non humanoid creatures) and/or backgrounds can look really great in 3D and it does in the Berserk films and the 2016 show^^
but Bersrk 2016 should have used more 2D animators, i'm sure the studio has a big budget and its gonna get bigger since a game adaptation is coming out soon should make em loads more money. and plus i'm sure its not hard to contact professional freelancers like the animators I've mentioned.

i usually study movement and fight choreographies from various anime and some animations and real life fighting scences. So long story short i study fights and observe their movement, once i get it, imma start practicin
