This is just retouched stock; I didn't take the pic nor do I know the model. I thought this was a sassy pose with a sassy looking girl so I gave it a whirl.

This is a beautiful touch up, it adds to the models real beauty that camera's can not capture. By removing those straggles of hair and smoothing the deep wrinkles under her eyes that the camera unfortunately captured and she looks a lot better because of it. You also did a great job to keep her natural colour and bring out all the glow her skin would have in real life, I know that if I ever did a personal picture I would be thrilled to have you touch it up to make me look as good as you have made this young lady look. Keep up the good work, and I hope you continue to polish your talent.

I'm still perfecting my skill in retouching, but your first statement is a big part of the reason I think retouching is a photographer and model's best friend. I want the model to look like she would on her best day. The photographer can try his best, but blemishes, shadows, funky make-up... several things can happen that draws attention away from the model's beauty that IS there when you see her in person.

Don't feel bad about insomnia. I love being asleep, but I kind of hate actually going to sleep. It's like giving up on a day. I feel like I can do more stuff, but I can see that if I don't sleep, the next day will be miserable.
Sleep or no, you're still a pretty, sassy looking girl and I'm glad you don't seem to hate the finish product.

Thanks for that comment. I have trouble under eyes. I don't mind smoothing them out completely, but then I lose the dimension of the lower eyelid, which apparently is bad.
