Description From Hindu mythology, the Rakshasa are a race of demonic sorcerers, illusionists, and shape-changers that, according to some tales, were created from the breath of Brahma while the god slept. Upon creation, they were filled with bloodlust and attacked Brahma himself, waking him from his slumber and forcing him to call for aid. Vishnu arrived and banished the monsters to Earth (thanks, Vishnu!).

Fierce and enormous in size, with the most ferocious sporting flaming eyes and hair, they were often portrayed in Hindu epics as a populous race represented both by virtuous heroes (the pious Vibhishana) and insidious villains (the monstrous king Ravana).

For this particular individual, I went with the flaming hair and eyes, armed him with a pair of custom-made Katar punch-daggers, and draped five magical stones around his neck (my little homage to the Sankara stones from 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'). I also took some inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons and gave him inverted hands.
