Description
I had the idea for this one a few years ago but it stayed as a sketch in my sketch pad until recently when it fianlly got developed onto what you see here. Originally the Monk was a sexy Vampire lady in a coffin. But after consultation with my Art Director we chose to go for a more creepy theme.Related content

Hey bro i wanted to get your permissioin to use this as a base for a tattoo im wanting to get. The only change i will be doing is instead of having the skele there ill be having anubis in his place in the same position.

I just think its ironic (and adding to the symbolic sense of the picture) that the ankh is the Egyptian symbol for eternal life and upon it is a skeleton.

I love this. Very cool - I especially like the colortone. Amazing that you can get so much detail out while not reverting to using very dark or very bright colors.
Also, the spider webbing rules, and most of all brakes up the symmetry. Nice trick!
