Description
Recently I've been posting older work that I found amidst the cobwebs at the back of the computer, but here, at last, is something new.I really strove to make the Fire Breath realistic, so i studied photo's of fire breathers and flame throwers to get it right.
I love the little men dotted about the image, trying to fight off the Dragon and loosing badly.
Anyway, enjoy. I'd love to hear your comments!

Ummm...
may i give a critique?
I think you should make the people below, like, in total panic. The burnt man, IMO, should be in running pose or "fighting" pose and the other people should move away in panic to keep a distance from the burnt man.
That's what I'll do if i were there~
Anyway, that's my opinion. I'm not an expert, but I think this poster would give more fear if you do that...
Nevertheless, this is one great art^^.
You must have spent a lot of time to do this fire coloring~

Its all painted in Photoshop with a Graphics Tablet, just like painting in real life, but with an undo button and other cool stuff.

Well, I first used Photoshop, I think in 1997, but didn't really get into it until around 2000. Thing is, im still learning new stuff on it all the time. I use Photoshop 7 and have seen no need to upgrade to the CS versions.
I use a Wacom Intous 1 at work, and an Intous 3 at home. Wacom are the best tablets to get. I started off with a Wacom Graphire, which are cheap but good.

for a start..
lovely image, and the fire looks real , so studying there was well done though, ... if you light a lighter for arguement sake .. and look at the flame, at the base of the flame is blue .. so, would it look interesting to you, if the dragon had that little touch of blue heading torwards the back of his throat? with our without it, you done a brilliant job
also ... can we say... extra crispy or original receipe?

Perhaps, but I was looking at pictures of fire breathers and flame throwers and went by those. Theres a little bit of colour correction so the fire looks more a part of the scene, but otherwise its pretty close to realistic.

I agree it looks realistic, just thought a bit of blue would look cool in the flame
either way mate, it's a KICK ARSE dragon pic!
