Description I love it when folks think of me to color things at shows. I absolutely loved this piece when I saw it and REALLY wanted to color it. My usual use of markers provided a bit of a problem in that I didn't have enough of the right purples to do the piece justice and I REALLY wanted to use markers. And as I'd said to the commissioner, I won't really do a piece unless I'm certain I can do it justice. I mean the lines and inks on this piece was absolutely beautiful. I checked my prismacolor pencils and I had everything in the color range I needed but pencils can be tricky in that they can easily cover inks and mute them a bit. Not wanting to pass up this opportunity, I decided to go that route and was as careful as I could be. In the end, I think it worked out well but it made me realize I need to get a better range of colors to make sure I'm prepared.
