Description
My dad listens to Miles Davis all the time, so when I got this class assignment to do a caricature of a jazz musician, this seemed the perfect fit! The way my Self-Caricature was made was inspired by this piece!Oil paint on canvas.

You really nailed Miles' passion. I imagine that he's doing some of his "On The Corner" or "Jack Johnson" stuff.

I like it too, though I'm not a big Miles Davis fan. Maybe part of the reason for more reviews is that it's somebody famous? People always go for the familiar. But DON'T give up your comics! They're so unique and original! And comics give so much more room for development.
You can just get rich on the side churning out caricatures.

Dude, I think you've found your knack. Your caricature stuff has so much style too it, it's something you definetlly shouldn't abandon. While your comics are nice, I think your caricature work completely dwarfs them.

Odd, because I LOVE doing the comics, but just kind of like doing the caricatures. If I'm not careful, I might end up making a career out of something I don't enjoy doing, even though it's better than what I love to do!
