i got this question once before. She first appeared in the Prologue as just some random mammal thing that happened to live in a stump. I didn't do any prethinking on what she could be, but I adored her so much that i used her in the real chapters now and then!
I guess what she resembles most is a pygmy mouse, a hampster or even a flying squirrel. Hey, I sort of like that last idea! (goes off to write next story!)
