What time is it?!So I decided that after the Kappa Movie poster, that would be it for my KM fanart in general. The whole series of deviations took way longer than I expected and now I'm taking this chance to do other things on DA like fanart of other stuff. Lady Rainicorn looks a bit small compared to her scale in the show, but whatever.
OMG I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE spaghetti. And I wun sum now. I was psyched when there were many references to it in the show!
There's something odd about the location they are having their picnic on....

What's left of New York, that is. I hope on day Fin will explore the history of his race. Who knows? He may find out what happened. After all the only two people, Marcelline and the Ice King, who lived past "The Great Mushroom War" probably don't even recall.

I think the real subtly lies in the fact that almost every character in the show is completely oblivious to where all these ruins and destroyed cities came from. Only the viewers know, since it's our world after a Nuclear war. Not sure what may have caused it all, however, and the only two people who would were either too young to remember (Marcelline, because she's a Vampire) or too far gone in their sanity (Ice King). Maybe one day we'll find out.

We do know what caused it. The Great Mushroom War. But we don't even know what exactly that was.

Think about; Mushroom War? What powerful weapon creates "mushroom" couds? Nuclear bombs. It's destroyed and leveled every possible city in history. And everyone in the world has one. Whatever triggered it, it was enough to make the planet turn itself into one, global fall out. How any life manage to come back after, especially in the fantastic forms they manifest in now, is still a mystery.

The energy generated by the bombs (and possible new experimental weapons) created a break in reality allowing magic energies to enter the world and help shape it in what it is in the series.

Possibly. My question now is, if Finn continues to grow, will he head the past, or push forward to his own future, while risking to repeat history again?
