Description
Here's the original file for the background characters I pasted into the cover. Now you can see Jay-Peg's true, smoothed colors, and Cassie's equally smooth legs.Visit the UNTITLED website: [link]

You know, considering Jay-peg still looks human, I'd guess he's a slightly older student than Sam and Cassie. Am I right?

I don't quite understand where you are getting that idea. Is it because of how his head looks, or his height? :/

Sorry, I wish there was an edit button for these comments.
I meant to say that Jay-peg looks more human than the other students (and teachers), but you can see his transformation starting because he's gained that grainy look of poorly compressed digital artwork. Perhaps he'll begin looking less and less like a 'normal' person the further along his educational track he goes.

Well, okay. I didn't mean for him to look more human than any of the other main characters, even though I DID mean to make some of them less human than others, such as Meryl, who doesn't look so much like Mickey Mouse if she weren't in the city of UNTITLED. Jay-Peg will remain drawn and rendered this way. It all depends on how I choose to draw the FORM of each character- their STYLE is a completely separate entity.
But yes, that means that if Jay-Peg were to change his interest to, say..., traditional painting, he would change into a painterly-rendered character on the page! I will write another episode pertaining to this phenomenon exclusively.

Other than studying folds on real clothing, that's about it. It takes some practice.
