On Instagram I have a series dedicated to the B-list heroes and villains associated with the 1980's and 90's TMNT cartoon and toyline. Merdude appeared in one episode of the cartoon, though he was a watered down version of what we had seen in the comics and as an action figure. He may look like a pirate sea monster, but he's actually one of the good guys.
