scrambler is the partner/brother to hardboil who was also created by eggman for the sole reason of getting rid of sonic and his friends, though unlike his brother hardboil, scrambler isnt really the sharpest tool in eggmans shed as he is much more clumsy compared to his brother, often missing his targets when aiming his eggpawn blaster, blurting out eggmans plans out loud to the point where sonic and his friends catches on to it and often messes things up to the point where he annoys hardboil and often gets him and hardboil called out by eggman, but as his name suggests, when he is focused, he can indeed scramble things up as his terrible aiming can lead into him shooting at random directions until he accurately aims at his target and he can quite literally "Scramble" gadgets created by tails and GUN, so when he isnt being a clumsy screw-up, he can be a threat that can scramble devices that the heroes uses...if he can just aim accurately without missing

so yeah, this is scrambler

just like the inspirations for hardboil, scrambler is inspired by cubot from the newer sonic games from the 2010s, grounder from the adventures of sonic the hedgehog, dingo from sonic underground and decoe from sonic x
