alright guys, here is my viewing order tierlist for the mcu

i wanted to go ahead and make this now before phase 4 of the mcu gets delayed again

for starters, the reason why the films in the mcu are placed out of order from when they are supposed to be, ive based this list on the chronological viewing order for the mcu based on Geekritiques complete mcu timeline (as of spiderman far from home, so far it has not been updated to include season 3 of runaways, the final season of agents of shield, helstrom and the films and tv shows from phases 4 and 5 of the mcu) so because of this, ive put captain marvel as a part of phase 1 when its a part of phase 3, guardians of the galaxy 2 is placed on phase 2 despite being made for phase 3 and the black widow movie is placed as a part of phase 3 instead of phase 4 (after talking with a friend on mewe, i decided to list it on phase 3 after captain america civil war and before black panther)

due to the tv shows by marvel television never being mentioned nor brought up in the events of the main mcu films aside from agent carter (which had edwin jarvis from the show appearing in avengers endgame) i have placed all the marvel oneshots, marvel television shows and WHIH newsfront in the "Optional To Watch" category, you dont have to watch these shows to fully understand the lore of the mcu, but it is recommended for parts of the worldbuilding not seen in the films, the agent carter tv series and oneshot is the only show from marvel television and the only marvel oneshot i have placed in the main categories as they were the easiest for me to place in the mcu timeline as they take place after captain america the first avenger and before captain marvel chronologically

as a joke relating to the bad reputation that the inhumans tv series has gotten, i have placed it under the "NOPE" category, yeah its a meme category, but the reason i have placed the inhumans series there is because the show hardly feels connected to the overall mcu aside from a mention to the events of agents of shield according to the terrible tv shows wiki and it made me feel that this show was not canon to the mcu despite taking place in its universe

also, since there has not been a logo or poster released for the third mcu spiderman movie and the rest of the movies for phase 5, i had to upload fanmade posters for them onto here yesterday so i can use them for this tierlist, this is the reason why i uploaded fanmade posters for the third mcu spiderman movie, the second captain marvel movie, the third antman movie, the mcu fantastic 4 movie and guardians of the galaxy 3 yesterday instead of waiting for logos on them to be released

any films and tv shows that were rumored but wasnt given an article on the mcu wiki are not included on the tierlist, so because of this i left out the rumored nick fury tv series, this "Young Avengers" movie and the mcu x-men film from the tierlist until these rumors become true or not by marvel studios, disney or kevin feige

films released before or outside the mcu like sam raimis spiderman trilogy, the x men film franchise, big hero 6 (which i personally see as both a disney and marvel movie) sonys marvel universe (or the "Venomverse" as some people calls it) and spiderman into the spiderverse are left out of the tierlist as they do not take place in the mcu, this also implies to the disney xd marvel shows as while they do heavily promote the mcu, they are not actually canon to the mcu as they take place in an alternate universe from the mcu (the mcu takes place on earth 199999, but the disney xd shows take place on earth 12041 while black panthers quest, the guardians of the galaxy animated series and spiderman 2017 takes place on earth 17628...yeah this change in continuity is why i dont watch the disney xd marvel shows all that much and i have no idea why it was rebooted)

and 1 more thing, this tierlist isnt about what is the best or worst parts of the mcu, i dont make those types of tierlists, most of my tierlists will be a categories of shows, movies, games or characters and if they are part of the main canon or an alternate universe or from what they were introduced in
