aww I love samus, when i was younger I didn't know who samus was other than that I played as her all the time in smash bros 64, she was totally my childhood crush ahahaha

When you mean "he" in the description, are you referring to Samus or the Metroid infant thing (since Metroid, although a vague name cameo, is mentioned)? I'm pretty sure that's a typo, but I wanted to double check on that anyway.
The only thing I would mainly mention as constructive criticism is I would have pushed foreshortening Samus's left leg (her left). But honestly, I don't blame you about the foreshortening though. I have a hard time with that as well. Then probably the same for her left arm as well. I find it arguable whether I would have changed the pose of that arm or not. Nonetheless, it fills in for the tight composition format well though. The only other thing I could think of is potentially trying to push the visual difference in the line weight/thickness. However, all of those things are in mind towards just to wanting to have seen the depth of field/perspective pushed a little more.
Outside of depth of field related things, I would have pushed your shadows/contrasts more as well to establish some extra form in there. To feel a little less flat anyway.
Aside from those things though, I think you did a good job. I assume this was meant more as a quick drawing/deviation, but I still think is a nice Samus picture. Always nice to see another Samus fan!

Yea its just a quick little thingy so I mostly put the slight values in there to make the colors pop, it looks a little flat but as a quick thing I think it works out.
