The mission can't stop when the Varia suit needs a full repair, here introduces the Zero suit 2.0-The connector ports (the disc-looking things) on the shoulder/joints/legs make for a tighter and more reliable connection with any suit model, this also reduces suit malfunctions during explosions/hard force/etc.
-The side arm is a modified version of the gun arm, but much lighter and compact. Currently it only has access to the POWER BEAM function, but upgrades could be applied, and thanks to the battery pack attached to the forearm, has charging capabilities.
-The suit is padded throughout, especially on parts of the body that would be more likely to be struck during combat. This additional protection also contains cooling units for those treks into extremely high-temperature areas. Keep in mind that it is still not suited for cold weather, nor is it effective against gunfire
-On the left wrist is a miniature computer controlled by hand gestures. This serves the purpose that the visor would normally fulfill, such as map navigation, log book scanning, or computer access.
-Lastly the boots are not only compact enough to fit into the normal power armor's suit, but contain enough features to make suit-less exploring feasible. This of course including thrusters to soften falls and jump higher.

I wanted to keep the zero suit still pretty recognizable, so i opted to keep the blue color. HOWEVER, lets be honest, the suit needed some upgrades. Orange over pink I think suits the suits glowy bits better, and overall the suit looks like one that would actually be helpful!

Fantastic, I can tell you put a lot of thought into this. I'm glad you addressed the reasoning for keeping the blue, cause I was gonna say since it's a redesign I'd like to see some different colors. But since I see you thought it out and had a reason on your own, it's great. If I could suggest anything else, I'd say more and more detail. The design itself is simple and that's great, but more detail to break up the blue expanse would be nice. But since it's a contest, I know you're pushing the deadline. It's awesome, and your style really works well for Zero Suit 2.0.

Yea the crunch time was real on this one, but it had been floating around in my head a while! Maybe after the contedt ill go in and add some deets, glad you like it though!!
