Yeah yeah yeah, we have models and ragdolls and pony-based reskins of the Doctor Who era of the 9th and onwards, but what about the classic years during the show's run from 1963 to 1989 (Plus the 1996 TV Movie)?

Well, we have a stroke of fortune. Mr. R.T. Frisk, the maker of the popular L4D Custom Campaign Suicide Blitz ([link] ), gathered the textures and model necessary to recreate the look of a Time And Relative Dimensions In Space from around the times of the 70s or 80s run of the show, and placed it in his campaign as an Easter Egg for Whovians to find.

As it was in the game files, it was part of the map in L4D1, and an incomplete model in L4D2. So out of interest, I asked him if he had the model, and after a while, he replied with a completely-textured, seperate model of the TARDIS from years gone by.

It's not especially high-res or detailed, but it works well at what it is, a simple prop to show this magnificent time machine ready for a trip in the Time Vortex with the lovable Time Lord. And that is hopefully enough. Jelly baby?

Actually, I'm Classic Series only - Hartnell-McGann. I was 10 when the original series started. And as such, I much prefer the Classic TARDIS. If you're interested, here's a link to build a life-sized Classic Series TARDIS and my favourite shot of the TVM TARDIS - which is, of course, my favourite TARDIS, inside and out.
