Normando the high dragon , my first attempt, didn't use much reference which resulted in a lot of anatomy issues, leading to this version being pretty much scrapped.happy N7 day everyone (November 7th) to celebrate here's the surprise character in the Dragon Effect series, she's not completely finished yet but wanted to share something for this special day. Joker the dragon rider/pilot will be along shortly along with the final cleaned up group shot of the whole crew.

Awesomely painted, but I have no idea how the wings are sprouting out of the forearms like that. It just kinda falls apart for me there. But still, this is gorgeous.

It's not the forearms. They come out of the sides. I'm sure it will be more clear when he finishes it though

Right now, it looks like the deltoids of the wings are directly bursting out of the scapula of the forearms, which implies a lot of problems anatomically as well as an inability for both limb sets to properly move. But he may yet change it, dunno. I like the painting regardless, wing anatomy is just a big pet peeve of mine.

I get it. I thought you meant the plagiopatagium was coming out of the forearm. I get what you mean now and, yes that would cause functionality problems.

Absolutely incredible! You translate the science fiction elements of Mass Effect so well into a medieval universe like Dragon Age! Do you just sit there and look and the designs for hours until you come up with something, or does it just come to you?!

awesome totally awesome. the ideas in my head for this are insane though i will tell you if you ok me doing a story it will be a bastard child between Mass Effect and Dragon age. certain mass effect species will replace dragon age ones. but if you are ok with it i will try this idea out.
