Ohh, nice photograph
What were the waves like? I've been wanting to get a photograph like this underneath the Oceanside Pier, but I don't want to risk my camera falling over during the exposure due to the waves being fierce. Also, how far up were you on the beach?

Thanks The waves were really calm.......I usually just plant the tripod pretty good in the sand, let the waves hit it a few times to settle and then shoot away. I would estimate I was probably 50 feet off of the rocks towards the water......tide was low at this time as well

More towards the Poway area. Actually almost on the border of Poway, about 50ft away from it
