Holey Moley! The set was a success! So much of a success, I'm coming around for a victory lap! Whooo!Thank you so much everybody for spreading the love! I honestly did not expect it, or intend it for that matter, to be this amazingly loved! I hope you all enjoy the new series!

stepping up to the plate, a lttile late in this thread, but nice work, finding all the pieces and all....
It always irked me, that lego never came out with a doctor who set, and now with the success and reinvention of the doctor since it's return, it irks me more!, with it's astounding popularity, and the fact that every other hob nob show gets a look in, lego wise, harry potter, indiana jones, etc etc, all good films of course, but where's the doc? C'mon Lego guys, step up to the bat allready!

I made them from scratch. I took about two months to get all the parts, and about a week of shooting time. I did a series that lead to the debut of Matt Smith. A doctor a day if you will.

I had little less then half of them. That's sort of how it started. I built Eight and Ten first (Because I had the pieces. Different head and Screwdriver for Ten at the Time though [link] ).
I ordered from BrickLink, for some of the odd pieces for the TARDIS Interior [link] , and most of the the minifigs as well.

Yeah, multiple times actually. Same with Rory, but she never seems to be "Just right".
I've mapped out her out for pieces I need to make a really good one. The hair I have doesn't quite work with her, so that's why I'll keep brain storming until I can get my hands on Ginny's Hair [link]

I can't wait until they come out! I'm so EXCITED! I'm going to buy all of them, but my mom thinks I'm too old for them.
Rory is funny, but I don't like the way he interferes with the Doctor Amy relationship. I wish Amy could travel with him without having a boyfriend. Kind of like the way Donna did with the Doctor.

I never really liked Donna actually (but don't you mean like Rose?).
She was a big meany face to the Doctor, and her lead up was such a let down once it got to the point of her being a Time Human...thing. Which would have never worked, well it shouldn't have worked... It didn't... I'm glad RTD is gone. He had a good couple of seasons, but after Martha left it just started to stink. Not just Donna, but the story's too. They weren't bad, but the weren't good either.
I don't think Moffat was trying to imply that there was a real "Relationship" between Amy and the Doc, I suppose that's why Rory came back. Personally I think it's nice to not have the companion smothering, or giving him a rough time. Just a friend and her boyfriend.
It's different. I like it.

I was going to say Rose, but for awhile she had Mickey to deal with. Donna was more of a best friend, which the Doctor needed after losing Rose and Martha leaving. (Which I was so happy about. I hated Martha). I think that Amy would be more like that than a romantic relationship. To me, Rory is just being annoying. Also, I don't want Amy to leave the Doctor because of Rory. Amy is my favorite companion after Rose.

I did some visual studying to the real Amy, and looked at mine and thought to myself... "You could do better!"
She was put together in less then a minute, with no real thought put into her. I like her, but not as much as I could. She just looks so bland...

So if you've seen episode 9, why do think that Rory will come back. He's dead and forgotten by everyone except the Doctor. I cried too.

Well since we're on the subject, my favorites are: The Mind Robber, Invasion of the Dinosaurs, The Ark in Space, Paradise Towers, The Movie(8's movie), The Empty Child, Human Nature (both parts), Blink was good too, The Eleventh Hour, Vampires of Venice, Cold Blood... just to name a few.

Inferno and The Three Doctors were both awful. Uh... Anything Sixth Doctor related... I don't like Six.
There was an episode in Series 2... I think it was called Fear Her...? Anyways, that is by far the worst.
Other then that, I think they're all pretty good. If you find a good one that you think I haven't seen, then defiantly send me a link to it

You knew Paul McGann is the Eighth Doctor right? That was the only time he was on screen. He never had a full series. It was called "Doctor Who: The Television Movie". He had a Radio Drama... which I'm still trying to find.... No luck yet.
He's probably one of my favorites because I know so little about him. Truth be told, I'm(have been) writing a Time War story using some of the snipits of things they've mentioned in the past few series. Been working on it forever... :/

For some reason I thought that Christopher Eccleston was the 8th doctor. I know he's the 9th but I messed that up somehow. I'm sorry. Wow, that was really stupid of me.
Why was the 8th doctor only used for one movie? That doesn't make any sense to me. Why not use him for at least one season?

Well when Seven stopped doing the show, Doctor Who didn't really go anywhere. About ten years passed before a guy in America contacted the BBC and asked if he could make a movie to promote a possible series. BBC approved it, made it, and it didn't fly in America, and only mildly flew in Brittan.
True Whovians still liked it, and so McGann decided to do Audio Dramas for BBC Radio. 15 years later, Nine and RDT came around.

It may be a while... I started it almost three months ago, and only have a part of a chapter... and it's in the middle of the story....

Did Eight regenerate during the radio dramas or did they just announce, "Hey we have a new guy to play the Doctor. He's going to be 9!" and just leave it at that? I still don't understand why they didn't do a TV show with 8.
