I kno he look like superman has had skin eaten off his right arm and a good deal of his face and the right side of his torso and is now a zombie (Stop doing that J.C.) but he is actually a Ctborg. To be more precise he is the comciousness of Hank Henshaw in a digital form combinded with cloned pieces of Superman.

Hank Henshaw was originally an astronaut that met with tradgedy when his shuttle containg him, his wife, and two of his colleagues/friends. they were hit by radiation that alteredthem gentically into metahumans with unstable powers. When they crashlanded the plan was to get to S.T.A.R. Labs and try and solve the problem. It didn't work. Superman tried to stop them thinking they were a threat. Because of this his two firends died at S.T.A.R. labs while he was able to save his wife yep. U guessed it. He died. His mind coverted into a digital form and entered the computers he was working with. He thne transsferred his conciousness into a medicla robot and attempted top communicate with his wife. She was overcome by it all and killed herself. This drove him well over and miles past the brink.

He later beamed himself off eath in a rafdio burst but before doing this he managed to copy Supermans genetic codes after travveling a fair distance...... (only 200,000 light years) and found a planet with a ruler who loathed superman. Mongul. When the news that superman had died he set off for earth, took the form u see now and impersonated superman. He then destroyed Coast City (the home of Hal Jordan) with Mongul's help and attempted to terraform it to use as part of a mechanisation of the entire planet. He was Defeted by Superman and supposedly killed.

But he wasn't... He kept the form seen and roamed around space still attempting to gain revenge on superman. He them found the manhunter homeworld and acended to their leader. Because of this he was invited into the
Sinestro corps and took part in the battles on earth.

He still wears the uniform in a perverse way of reminding himself how he wound up like this. He currantly posses 8 Green Lantern power rings and some of the abilities of Superman.
