Description A book cover design for Philip K.Dick's Hugo Award winning novel The Man in the High Castle. An alternate history classic, describing life in a world where the Nazis and the Japanese won WWII and are jointly occupying America. I gave this image a noir style with the monochromatic coloring and upward pointing perspective. The figure is holding the I Ching because it's a major plot device.

...just a teensy bit too scary? I don't care, it's fantastic work. Nicely drawn!

Well, it would be scary if you lived in a world where the Nazis won. Anyway, the art style I was going for was film noir, it's supposed to be dark.

Thanks! I hear that Ridley Scott is planning to make a Mini series of the novel on Amazon next year. I love to see his imaginative vision of what the world would be like had the Axis powers won WWII.
