well, yeah. this is just what it says in the title.im working on some short spidy stories ive been wanting to do for a while and i realy wanted to make MJ look cool, because shes an actress and a model after all and she never really looks as cool as i imagine her to be.
so here's my attempt. modelled on my friend grace, who has the killer red hair and cool little dice earing thing. clothes in the middle taken from the new winter 55DSL line and clothes on the left taken from the girl in manchester who i can't seem to forget.
pencil drawing, wacom-ised in photoshop cs. no polygon tools were harmed during the making of this piece.

MJ has always been too much of an everyday girl. She never looked any different from anyone else which is weird with the model/actress thing. And to top it off nobody ever questions that she is with Pete. You've got a design here that would have people asking why the hell is she with him. Awesome.

thanks man. without giving too much away the comics im working on deal with the relationship side of peter and mj and just basically what they do when hes not saving the world and shes not being sexy for a living.
but yeah, nobody ever asks why peter would have mj

actually, thats my favourite too. like most of my stuff i stole it from a person i saw in town when i was out drawing. girl was so hot, and the skirt (which is not evident here i don't htink) goes up at the back in a V shape to about knee level.....damn. i keep using this outfit alot just cause of that girl

i LOVE your design for mj! i think she looks so "normal" in the comics (and movies and such). she needs some flair, and you gave that to her.

humberto ramos does a good job with her in the comics right now but in the films im not loving kirsten dunst at all (which is unusual). she needs more..spunk? yes, im trying to give MJ spunk

God, I know EXACTLY what you mean. Kirsten Dunst was so horrible I thought. shes just so polite and housewifeish, that dosnt seem very spiderman worthy. I deff think youv got a great Idea with this.
