Description
I've finished drawing the Thin Man, a super cool old movie character played by William Powell back in the day. I used a gradient-based coloring method I've never used before but that I like when other people use it. Or, when they use it well. I used it ok, but it's not super distinctive like when people are good at it. I wanted to get some practice with gradients, is all.The sketch of this fan art is in my scraps gallery.

One of my all-time favorite movie characters wonderfully rendered. Great job.

That gradient-based method is subtle, but definitely smooth and natural looking. You made the martini glass and the hand holding it look dazzling that way, and I gotta say that I'm impressed with how good it looks on the face, and how well you brought out the facial features.
But I never heard of the Thin Man. Gonna have to look him up.

Thanks man! That is some wicked nice feedback. And you can totally grab a Thin Man movie off Netflix if you like old detective films.
