Description
Upon entering the ballroom with Jareth close behind her, Sarah's mouth fell agape at the sight of the cracks and missing pieces in the wall. Swiftly she turned to face Jareth."What happened here?" she asked with genuine concern.
Jareth's eyes held no blame, no anger. He merely smirked. The smirk Sarah had come to adore since her return to the Underground. She watched as his clothes seemed to melt. Melt into new ones. Familiar ones. The very clothes he had worn in this very ballroom all those years ago. She looked down and noticed her clothes were changing as well and before she knew it she was in the very same ballgown which she remembered so fondly.
She turned, allowing her eyes to scan the broken room with a sort of awe and confusion. 'What could have happened here?' she thought as a crystal appeared before her. She was all too awear now of the Goblin King's close proximity behind her.
"You happened, Sarah." he paused awaiting a reaction. There was none. Perhaps she was confused. "when you escaped the ballroom, all the walls cracked. "
"Why didn't you have them fixed?" even before she asked, it sounded like a silly question.
"I didn't want them fixed."
"Why?"
Jareth leaned into her, letting his cheek be caressed by her raven tresses, "because they were something to remember you by."

This took about three hours.
Jareth as always gave me the most trouble but I should expect that(he is the Goblin King afterall).
I enjoyed drawing this immensely and I hope you all enjoy viewing it.

This is a beautiful drawing and a wonderful idea! The detail on the dress is exquisite, as are the expressions on both of their faces.
