I was also looking through the art forum area and got inspired by the human version of Reynardine someone drew... so I thought I would draw my own version of him... and a human version of Coyote...
I really wanted Coyote to be tribal ish looking... I think I pulled it off well... and well hopefully captured his essence... poor Annie XD

Renard should look more distinctly Saxon, since you're going with a tribal motif; after all, it was traditional Saxon beliefs that gave birth to him. Coyote is perfect. Now I have this idea for a nude calendar featuring Jones, one for twelve different geological time periods, just snapshots in her eternal wandering. One in particular, she is in the mouth of a liplurodon unlucky enough to try to eat her, she is effortlessly propping its jaws open, a WTF look in its eye, her gorgeous figure in full relief. Another would be an homage to 2001 space odyssy as she meets hominids for the first time.

I wasn't really going for a tribal look for Renard. I just drew him in the way I thought he would look as a person. Coyote on the other hand I was doing so.

I found some comments on 4-chan making fun of it because of that... and that apparently I'm a fangirl who has no business doing this even though I based this on someone else's works that did the same thing lol.
I dunno how I feel about those comments yet, nor your off-handed compliment.

This is a really interesting interpretation of the comic ideas, almost like an alternate world or scenario which has similar themes, beautiful art.

Someone had drawn a human Renard, and it made me want to draw my own... and then a human Coyote... and then this came about xD

when i was about halfway through the comic I thought yup, reynard=annie love interest and same with coyote, but then there was the whole thing with rey loving Surma... O.o and then Jack...I don't know but I kinda like it better with the two wolf boys fighting over Annie XD

Well, this wasn't really them fighting over her. If you notice Coyote is staring at Reynardine... he's just doing it to be a jerk... and Reynardine is trying to keep him away and being fatherly XD

I love how Annie's got two half-naked guys on either side of her and yet her expression is all "I do NOT have time for this." That fits so well.
