Reyn is the finder and wielder of the Darkest Knife. Her body, because of its disorder, allows her to resist the knife's physical influence, however, her personality is not as resistant, and she becomes partially "Darkist" (one who is psychologically influenced by the Darkest Knife, and by extension, Ellusia) when she unsheathes the knife. Her brother is usually the one who pulls her out of her Darkist personality.
