A friend of mine commissioned me to paint a "cartoony" semi-realistic portrait of him and his wife. Shh! No one tell his wife. It's a surprise......
Self-critique: I'm not great at drawing men, and Matt has a very specific look to him that was hard for me to achieve. I don't love the way his face turned out. I feel like his wife's face turned out pretty well though. I also played a lot with the lighting and really like the dramatic lighting that was achieved. Once again, thanks to sakimichan for her tutorials on backgrounds and such.
