Description
"Chakra Glow" - a new driftwood and glass wind chime I made, using wood I found around the lakes and rivers of Arizona. I cut, drill, and grind the glass pieces and do the wood burning. Please check my website out for my available creations: www.beadworx.com (My windchimes are on the "Other Creations" page). This one will be listed on my website by tomorrow.I love the chakra colors, they each have meaning associated behind them, correlating with the areas of the chakra in our bodies:
Violet (Purple) = Crown Chakra - Personal identification with the infinite. Oneness with God. Peace. Wisdom.
Indigo = Third Eye Chakra - Intuition. Balanced state of mind. Seeing divine perfection in all things. Devotion.
Blue = Throat Chakra - Ability to verbalize. Expressing truth through power of the spoken word.
Green - Heart Chakra - Releasing emotionally suppressed trauma. Soul/Heart consciousness. Expressing love in action.
Yellow = Solar Plexus Chakra - Assimilation experience. Digestion. Positive use of personal power. Manifest goals.
Orange - Sacral Chakra - Utilization of creative forces into all aspects of being. High soul procreation. Directing self toward devotion.
Red - Base Chakra - Ground spirit forces in body. Gain ability to work lovingly on the physical plane.

I can imagine! Do you go out and look for driftwood to make these or just happen across them?
Do you make them to help with Chakra healing, or just for fun?

My husband and I go hiking a lot, so most of the time I just happen to come upon them, but in better areas when we find a lot, we look for them specifically. Once I found a super cool giant branch of Manzanita and I made my poor husband carry it all the way back from our hike, hehe. I left it whole and it sits in our living room.
I make the windchimes with the chakra colors, I guess for fun and for healing. I am learning more about chakra healing. In fact I have a nice little 7 minute tune up that I listen to almost every morning, and a great book I just finished reading if you like that kind of stuff: Handbook of Chakra Healing by Govinda.Β I am very drawn to working with and making chakra jewelry and creations, and want to add it in to all of my things, haha. I believe that when we are drawn to something or have a passion for something, it is for a reason, so I listen to my heart mostly, and so I guess that carries with it some fun and some healing too. <3

I'm amazed you can remember all of that information! Knowing it, however, definitely adds to the piece's value-I have a blue lace agate pendant that I wear every single day. I know that it helps with breathing problems, so I suppose it's connected to the Throat Chakra.

I have lots of good books that I reference, so I don't have to memorize everything. I collect stones myself and love learning their meanings. I do a small gemstoe feature for a group on Facebook each week, and how funny, I did it on Blue Lace Agate last week. (This info is all from a book I have), but just in case you are interested this is some of the attributes of Blue Lace Agate, and you are right about it being connected to the Throat Chakra
Blue Lace Agate: Is a wonderful healing stone. Its soft energy is cooling and calming, bringing peace of mind. It is particularly effective for activating and healing the throat chakra, allowing free expression of thoughts and feelings. It opens the way to experience of the higher energies. This is one of the great nurturing and supportive stones. It will neutralize anger, infection, inflammation and fever.
Psychologically, Blue Lace Agate counteracts the repression and suppression of feelings that stem from fear of being judged and rejected. Judgment is often present in the parent-child relationship, both in childhood and adulthood. As a result, feelings are held back and the lack of self-expression blocks the throat chakra and may affect the chest β the feeling being of suffocation. Blue Lace Agate gently dissolves the old pattern of repression and encourages a new mode of expression. It is useful for helping men to release and accept their sensitivity and feeling natures.
Spiritually, Blue Lace Agate clears the throat chakra so that the highest spiritual truths can be expressed. It is a stone that links thought to the spiritual vibration and brings in deep peace.

Healing: Blue Lace Agate is a powerful throat healer, its property of counteracting blocked self-expression releases shoulder and neck problems, thyroid deficiencies, and throat and lymph infections. It lowers fevers and removes blockages of the nervous system, and treats arthritic and bone deformity, strengthening the skeletal system and healing fractures. It also aids capillaries and the pancreas. As an elixir, it treats brain fluid imbalances and hydrocephalus. Blue Lace Agate can also be used to enhance sound healing β it focuses and directs sound to the appropriate place. Position as appropriate, particularly at the throat.

Goddess Above. I have to say, a lot of that explains why my spirit guides wanted me to have a blue lace agate!!! I've had mine for about six months now-it might actually be more though, I can't really remember-and it's one of the three pendants that I wear on a daily basis, too. It's helped immensely with my panic attacks, and, if this information is right, it could also explain why I've found it easier to meditate, too!

It is indeed. =^.^= I sleep with something like eleven different crystals in my pillow, and not all of them are smooth tumbled stones, either, lol. >.<

Haha, I thought I was the only one who did stuff like that. Sometimes I will put a little crystal in my bra when I start my day, just to have it next to my skin all day, and I forget it is there! LOL! I have been putting stones right under my pillow at night too Had not thought about putting them inside the pillow case, might be a little safer
