My workflow is really simple but depends on the application I use.
Most of the time I will set up the scene in Daz Studio and render in Luxrender by passing through Reality.

Sometimes, I will use Poser Pro 2012 and there I simply set up and render the scene in that application.

And lastly, I can use Octane Render, there I set up the scene in Poser Pro or Daz Studio and export as an .OBJ to import in Octane.

If I'm not mistaken, I think I used Daz Studio / Lux here. In that case it's not really hard:
- Choose character (Young Teen Julie in this case) and play with the dials
1 Choose pose and adapt if needed
2 Choose skin type
3 Choose clothing
4 Choose surroundings
5 Make sure everything is OK
6 Start up Reality
7 Modify some of the materials as needed
8 Render
9 If not happy with render, return to point 5
