I like the mane! But it's funny how one may not like a certain thing about something one has created oneself that others look at and just love. I think the portrait turned out great!

This is fantastic! I love the faint gold stars in the background how they compliment the one on his forehead the colors and detail of his mane, and the teal eye. The border looks so pretty and Elvish too.

Admit that for the border I was inspired by the details of Rivendell in some illustrations... The first I've draw was quite art nouveau style, but it didn't fit too much with the whole work...

Same! I just read about a mutation called "tiger eye" in Paso Finos. Golden eyes against a dark coat are so striking and eerie, I might have to paint one!
