My second part of the Beautiful AT with !I absolutly love the atmosphere create by Tolkien when describe the encounter between Beorn and Gandalf, and how the wizard is able to make him invite into his house the whole group; but.... admit that I absolutly fallen in love with the description of the banquet: too much animals for don't draw them! Hope one day to been able to partecipate into a banquet like that one!

Just amazing work. I love every single detail you added here. I really love the bees at the top corner carrying those lovely candle sticks, and the loin door nod. Every animal has it's own personality that really shines through with the amazing set of poses and expressions. The black and white of this along with the pen work makes it look like something from a really old fairy tale book

Admit that this work has drived me quite crazy: I wanted to point the attention on the animals, that Tolkien describes in a so sweet way!
I'm relly happy you like the details and the idea of the ink! - I love working on that kind of works, and admit that I have found some inspirations leafing through a fairy book illustrated by A. Rackham..... Soo happy you like the idea of a black&white illustration! - and the bees, that came out in a moment of madness!
