Description
One of the most sad page of the Silmarillion... and the first kinslaying remembered into the pages of that wonderful book.I'm not so used to draw landscapes, but rereading the Silmarillion, that sketch popped up into my mind, and I decided to work on it.... At first, admit I imagined it made only with ink, but, going on, I tryed to add more mediums...
Ink, Sepia, Copic Liners, Copic Sketchers, Kho I Noor pencils on Canson Imagine paper and Acrilyc, A4 size.

Totally agree with you!
Fëanor is areally complex character, and his changes, his evolutions are always really particular to read about... this contempt for the ships and - is possible to say - in general for the Elves and what they represent is for me one of the most touching JRRT has never written!
Even if, I must say, that very time I re-read a book of him I always find something special to draw!

Silmarilons? Sadly i haven't read it, but i like Tolkien's world however i seen only the Lotr movies
