Description
Had another go at space arts. It feels better in comparison to my previous attempts, but there's still a long way to go.This is a bit of a concept for RED: Hypothermia as it features the cold atmosphere of the solar system in which a large part of the story takes place.

Did you do the sun flare by hand? I enjoy the idea of sun flares with rectangular elements.

I did it by shaping some strokes and ovals in Photoshop and layering many on top of each other with different effects and hues.

oh man this is great! i love it 
i appreciate how it's not like wow fruity color everywhere that kills my eyeballs haha, theres good amounts of light and darkness both, so that the contrast only serves to emphasize each, which is great and i love it. full marks 10/10
and it's not just a bunch of whatever cool wispy stuff thrown about willy nilly, with a generally uniform distribution of cool colory clouds and whatever that just ends up looking kinda eh, but it's got depth and there's obvious thought in the structure of the picture (but that sounds weird probably haha)
it's also the details that make this picture awesome, like the tiny fainter wisps amidst the mass of gases and around the edges of the main gas mass, and tiny specks of starlight shining though the darkness
oh yeah and the way you used lighting to hint at larger, hulking masses of gas and clouds without explicitly drawing out outlines and stuff? brilliant. so cool. 200000/10 top notch love it
if i had to give criticism, it would be more detail, thinner lines, like literally go wild with the details and elevate this already awesome piece to like. idk mona lisa level masterpiece? but that's not really viable time-wise lol, and really is a rather piddling matter. it doesnt negate all the super awesome and wonderful stuff you've already got here. and really the fact that the harshest criticism i could give is literally just do what your doing only even more intensely is in itself a testament to how great and wonderful and fantastic this is. good job infinity out of ten, the scales so broken its in the horsehead nebula. (note: im not doing this as a critique bc i dont really get the star stuff, like what is vision, but i did put a goodly amount of thought into this so make of that what you will [fingerguns])
