Cartridge? Eh? What do ya mean by cartridge, the needle tip? It's all in good condition; survived for 30 years after all

the cartridge is the portion at the end of the arm attached to it that includes the needle (just fyi)
might look into getting a new one lol after that time (depending on use)

Well, it still works perfectly fine. It has been pretty well preserved, and it still plays LPs - the only problem to be had with it is the belt and getting the speakers to function properly. Thanks for the info though

Well, the whole setup is 30 years old There's nothing wrong now, just had to do some wiring and some static gun stuff to get the stereo system to work right when it was first setup.
