Bio: Joining the U.S Military at the age of 16, Slade Wilson even back then had no equal. So much so that he was assigned to a detachment of soldiers being sent to deal with a new type of war. The unit was known as Team-7 and became field leader due to his impressive record. But on one of their earlier missions, he failed to see a sniper hiding in the bushes and unable to see the ambush being set up. He was medically evacuated back to base, where the doctors saw this as a chance to test out an experimental superdrug, one that would create a new breed of supersoldier. Slade accepted, seeing it as a second chance. During this time, he married fellow soldier, Adeline, having three children. But one day, his best friend was kidnapped by a cartel. After making request to make a team to help him, which was turned down, Slade took matters into his own hands and used his contacts to get in. He dispatched every henchman there using all of his abilities. The feeling of the kills made him feel more like a Terminator than a Soldier. So he went his own way, becoming a gun for hire, mercenary, soldier of fortune, Slade would do it all for the right price. His name grew and grew until his name became legendary. But due to this, he started becoming a very strict father to his children. Teaching them the cruel realities of the world around them. His wife strongly disapproved but Slade would validate his work by saying he was making the world a better place. One day, he had angered the wrong people. Assassins broke into his house while only his wife was there. Adeline put up one helluva fight but was unable to get out of the way of an RPG, killing her and Slade's youngest son. Slade went on a mission of vengeance against the people who killed his wife and son, losing his eye to a lucky shot. He went on, teaching his children, Grant and Rose, to be killers like him. However, both began to resent him and left him with Rose joining the Teen Titans and Grant going into hiding.

Deathstroke learned of Lex Luthor's Legion of Doom and saw them as the biggest payday who could have. Not only would he be paid more money than he could count for each successful mission, he was also made a commander of the Soldiers and was given greater challenges for which to push himself with the Justice League of Warriors
