My first deviation! I love Alice in Wonderland! This little guy is a momerath from the poem, the Jabberwocky, which is explained to Alice by Humpty Dumpty in Through the Looking-Glass. No, a momerath is not a fuzzy-headed midget with googly-eyes. That was Disney's interpretation. And it was wrong. Humpty Dumpty explains that a 'rath' is a green pig, and 'mome' is a portmanteau meaning 'from home'. I take this to mean that a momerath is a lost rath?? It doesn't really make sense but that's what makes it so awesome.Related content
