The Crimson Devil drawing was originally done as a cover for the comic company Ape Entertainment.
The piece has yet to be published on the original project, though may at some point be printed there.
This drawing was also included in the artbook "Spectrum" and chosen to be in the Spectrum Gallery show in NYC.

Like. Andy, do you ever take the surface off your Bristol board to give an extra rough texture? We were discussing this at nightschool and talking about taking the surface off with a scalpel or stanley knife and using a 'dead' faber castel type ink brush pen to create an interesting effect. V

Interesting idea. No, I have never tried that. I usually use a bristol with a very smooth surface. You could try out your idea and see how it works.

I plan to try it out, but re-wiring parts of my house at the mo and time is short! It's to get a drybrushing effect kinda smokey and mysterious. Need to run out my pen first too, its still too new and I chucked the last one. Doh.
