Titans: Ink Detailtraditional all ink line art
cover art for DC Comics
See slightly LARGER and MORE CLEAR VERSIONS here: [link]
Here's a recent drawing DC commissioned me to do for a stock cover art image. It's a team of villains, I believe, led by Deathstroke. The guy in the middle/right side has tattoos that come to life.
I didn't use any photo refs on this drawing, though the female character is modeled after my fiancee, Tamara
Note to art collectors, the original art will be going up for sale.

Hi, I'm new to DA. Saw this image 'Titans; ink detail. Wow! How long did that take to finish? So much detail, action, movement in one frame. Brilliant work, like the rest of your gallery!

The detail alone is fantastic this must have taken a very long while to do. THe use of shading and light is incredible. My only thing is i wish we could see more of the dragon that would make for a totally wild tattoo

holy shit. you're art style is inSANE. i can look at it for weeks and find something new to like every time. your lines are so precise and the textures so varied. kinda reminds me of a modern version of wrightson's frankenstein.

THIS. IS. AWESOME.
You blow me away! love the style you did this in and everything. Wow so much detail! And all in pen!? Amazing!!
However as a die-hard fan of Deathstroke I feel inclined to tell you... that... Slade's missing eye is on his right side...not his left.

thanx On Deathstroke his eye on the right is not missing, it's just in shadows. I made the mask skin tight, so it's form fitting on the left eye... I had seen it drawn this way and liked it. Seems to be causing a little confusion though.

It's amazing the precision you put on the lines. In what paper format do you work?
