Here's a recent drawing DC commissioned me to do for a stock cover art image. It's a team of villains, I believe, led by Deathstroke. The guy in the middle/right side has tattoos that come to life.
I didn't use any photo refs on this drawing, though the female character is modeled after my fiancee, Tamara
Note to art collectors, the original art will be going up for sale.

Wow! That is a great piece. They could only blaspheme by adding color. Inspirational design as well. I like how there is a real feeling of visual depth that is accentuated by the design shapes and the foreshortening of the figures. How long did this baby take?

concidering the size of the tiny hatching details, I have to wonder what are the dimensions of the full sized piece here?

11 x 17, same as most my cover type drawings

so difficult to believe.
even when I go to the web site to see the close up detail which shows it as larger than 11x17 on screen for the black and white version, it wont show the details of the knuckles that are fore shortened close and large clearly, because the computer interprets them as reduced still.
Makes me think more like 14"x 28"-ish or some thing.

yeah, it is hard to show tight ink work on a computer screen. It really looks better in reality and looks even better blown up to poster size
