Description
Now that Nightcrawler has appeared for the first time as a live action character in the movie X2, his character has a staring role in three different mediums.Left to right are the television version of Nightcrawler from the series X-Men: Evolution, Nightcrawler as he appears in X2, and Nightcrawler in his current comicbook appearance.

there's also the nightcrawler from the original Xmen cartoon movie from the 80s, Nightcrawler from the early/mid 90s cartoon, nightcrawler from the short-lived, and wildly unpopular Xmen manga series... that bumps it up to 6
and as we all know, original nightcrawler is the best... that fucker from Evolution just doesnt deserve to live... come to think of it, none of the characters in that Godforsaken cartoon do... *so angry*!!!

Also, Nightcrawler first appeared in animated form in an episode of Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, titled "The X-Men Adventure." If the 80's cartoon movie your talking about, the pilot "Pryde of the X-Men," had been continued into a series, that would have been his first regular apearance as a main character in an ongoing TV series.
What inspired me to make this piece was to celebrate the fact that the character has a staring role in a TV series, a major motion picture, and a highly successful comicbook series all at the same time.
