I thought this was from the video game Spyhunter. Β The colors are extremely brilliant. Β Great work!

I can see where you got that from. I reckon Spyhunter was influenced by this film. Funnily enough I have done a Spyhunter Nerds Eye view too

Love it! The Spy Who Loved Me was my favourite Bond movie as a kid, mostly because of this exact part! Β

I like how the splashes are forming 007. Too bad he had to shoot down that lovely lady in the helicopter. Β

For what it's worth, I could see what this image represented from the little thumbnail that appeared on my 'following' grid : )
I loved this film; with this part being the highlight for me. I'd love an Esprit like that.
Love the blurry 'debris'. All lovely.
Spyhunter on the C64 for me. I recently played in on an emulator. Wish I hadn't. The memories were better that the reality (I sometimes forget we've come such a long way since 16 colour sprites ; )

Yeah I made that mistake a while back and vowed to never play any old school games again for fear of ruining my memories Thank you

Great job on the water!
Having read all of Sir Ian's series before the casting change; I always had trouble accepting Ivanhoe/The Saint as OO7, especially as the films became more, and more, SFX driven than book-plot driven. Yeah, I'm a Nerd.

Roger Moore was THE Bond for me growing up. I loved the films but never liked the books. Actually that's not fair, I read a bit of one book when I was at school and never read anymore so I have no idea what the books are like. But I've always been a Bond fan in the movies

My favorite Bond moving starring Roger Moore was "The Man with the Golden Gun." Christopher Lee was such a great villain! The only thing most Bond movies and Ian Fleming's books hadΒ in commonΒ were the titles. I understand Lee read Fleming's novel and disliked the assassin Scaramanga, so he reworked the Man with the Golden Gun into a more sophisticated villain with a taste for the finer things in life and gadgets: in other words, an evil version of Bond himself.Β Β
I especially loved Moore's Bond vs. Jaws, my favorite Bond henchman. Jaws was such a great survivor! Lose his parachute? Go over a waterfall? Get torpedoed? Jaw's always came back for more. Β

George Lazenby and Roger Moore were the only two with whom I had issues. For more reasons than I can easily count; Skyfall is a joy to watch.
I think, perhaps, you have to totally understand (or be willing to accept it, as a given, while reading) the Cold War mindset to be able to take those books seriously, or to get through them at all. In the summer of 1962, my dad's "boss", very strongly suggested that everyone who could read should read Alas Babylon, Fail Safe, and On The Beach, as those texts "might be of use" in the coming months. He wasn't alone in his thinking; and even we 17 year olds knew there would really be nowhere to run or hide if threat became reality.

When you put it like that yes it does make Moore's Bond seem like a clown BUT I still love him

Now that takes me back a long way, rubber keys and everything.
From the thumbnail my first thought was Spy Hunter, but with Esprit as the title it could only be Bond.
I'm really liking these top down views you're doing. You have a way of looking at things from a different perspective, like your silhouette kids in costume.

I think I TRY and find 'unique' ways of looking at things because I'm not as skilled as some and therefore try and find other ways for my artwork to stand out...a bit
